RAPIER CAREER TRAINING

Working alongside our core business as an employment agency we offer a dedicated training team, available to train and coach candidates to the highest standard of nationally recognised qualifications in both warehousing and driving.

Driving

All our instructors are either RTITB or DSA registered, with many years of driving experience behind them, they bring a wealth of knowledge to our Driver Training Packages. They are not here to tick boxes, but to prepare drivers for challenges which they face as they progress through their driving career.

National Register of LGV Instructors (NRi) list our instructor’s accreditation and confirms the highest standard of training will be achieved. Rapiers fully experienced instructors can help with and deliver the following courses as well as help develop specific courses to your businesses.

Smith System

For companies that have signed up to the Smith System, Rapier Employment can offer a one day advanced driver training course following the Smith System to improve drivers’ skills and habits.

This is a unique programme combines classroom and on the road training. Each driver will drive several times for positive reinforcement and critiquing of their driving habits and skills. Our expert Smiths System trained instructors will also demonstrate and explain different techniques to use whilst navigating through traffic.

This one day advanced driver training is a very popular behind the wheel training programme. The class is held on location to suit with a maximum of four students. Every student receives helpful information and a personalised written evaluation, a copy of which is also provided to the employer, with recommendations on areas for improvement.

DRIVER CPC

We believe our JAUPT approved training centre can offer the best Driver CPC Course experience. We have many courses, which we have used our many years of industry experience to compile. Nearly every subject is covered and with varied styles of delivery available from a presentation, quiz or case study learning each section is designed to encourage learning in varied formats.

WAREHOUSE

We can offer novice, experienced, conversion or refresher training on site on a varied style of manual handling equipment via our accredited training provider (Pertemps). These include:
